You can request a visit any time without calling the office. Here is how it works, including what happens after you submit a request.
Find an open slot
Open Book in your portal. Pick the visit type (in-person, telehealth, intake) — only providers offering that visit appear. Use the location and provider filters to narrow further.
Request the appointment
Tap a slot. Add a short reason for visit (this helps your provider prepare and is private to your care team). Submit.
What happens next
Some practices auto-confirm bookings; others have the front desk approve them within one business day. You will get an email and text either way. If your provider needs to reschedule, you will be offered alternative slots before they touch your time.
